Barry Nelson is celebrating his 25th year in the tax and financial services industry.

Barry specializes in tax preparation and planning for individuals and small businesses at TTD. Known for his mathematical prowess and unwavering memory, Barry enjoys the collaborative atmosphere at TTD where teamwork drives client success and fosters a supportive environment.

Barry holds memberships in American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)and New Jersey Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA). He previously worked at Price Waterhouse Coopers and  TriFound Financial, LLC .

In addition to his tax services, he offers financial and retirement planning. He currently holds the National Social Security Advisor (NSSA) and FINRA Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative designations and is licensed in New Jersey Life & Health insurance.  

Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, Barry attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he earned his B.S. in Accounting. Throughout college, Barry demonstrated his leadership as captain of the university’s cross-country team and was awarded All-County Honors in both cross country and indoor track. 

Outside of work, Barry is an active supporter of the American Heart Association. He has a passion for running and even envisions one day opening his own running store. At home, Barry enjoys spending time with his four-year-old dog, Juno, who joined the family after his daughter could no longer keep her in the city. 

A lover of travel, Barry dreams of visiting the Great Wall of China. Whether he’s coaching a race or sharing stories, Barry’s life is filled with the energy of sports and the wisdom of family values instilled by his parents.
